Smoked Dakota & Hawaiian Luau are the best! When the line isn't out the door when I drive through Lockeford, I'll stop & stock up. Best shop to buy premium meats in the Central Valley. Don't forget the beef sticks!
Lockeford is the BEST sausage place ever! People drive hours away to get them for special events or even just because (like we do. lol). You have to get the Spicy Hawaiian or the Hawaiian if you don't like a little heat. The Dakota is a great standard sausage. You have to get the teriyaki or spicy sticks to eat on the way home. We always get a bunch of different sausages each time we go. The building is small so only a few people can be served at a time. The employees are great and they move quickly.
My family makes the almost 2-hr drive from SF to Lockeford here for the sausages all the time. It was a long line today the day before Christmas Eve. One of our favorites is Dakota. Parking on the street and side of the building. Come early and enjoy!
The Service was fast and friendly. We purchased 4 very nice Sausages: Including Linguisa, Swedish Potato Sausage, South Dakota Smoked and the Mild Hawaiian. All were Amazing. My husband called after our purchase and was able to have a great conversation with one of the Sausage Makers regarding the best way to cook it, Super Helpful. So glad we took the time to Visit and Support This Small AMERICAN BUSINESS! Would happily do it again and will recommend to others. Thanks for a great Experience!
Always like taking a drive out here to Lockeford cause they've got some good linguiça among other sausages. Service is great nice little old building. It's cool.
